It is no great secret that since WW2 the U.S. has maintained a significant global footprint, its foreign policy influence largely driven by its economic engine and its capacity for projecting power though I would argue that gunboat diplomacy has increasingly become a dangerously ineffective tool but more on this particular point another time.

Speaking Reason to a Roman-Like Crucifixion & Subjugation
Weakness of standing, purpose and reason has always been the greatest exposure, the greatest risk for Totalitarian Regimes for the simple reason that the only offense they have for the rule must also serve as its only defense. Ultimately, the support of and for positive movement fails when allegiance is no longer both compelling and voluntary and this occurs simply because the “movement” is no longer positive or promising; it degrades to become predatory and in political terms this means Fascism and make no mistake that while in theory Socialism, Communism, Marxism or Capitalism may have their distinct differences in practices, they are patently misanthropic, spiritually nihilistic and intellectually psychopathic. (Note: Never confuse Free Market Economic Principles with Capitalism, they are in theory and in practice polar positions.)

Richard Blumenthal & Mazie Hirono’s mission matters more (than truth)!
Understanding the deplorable state of the processes of government it is rightly appropriate to point out that these two Senators are the ornamental fringe of a much larger game of staged whoresmanship, one whose sole purpose is to keep Trump from a court upending nomination. Whatever Ms. Blasey-Ford endured can only be known by her and no amount of empathy can or should be used as a tool for endorsing allegations, or should we encourage the fashionability of synthetic rage staged by political operatives expressly for the purpose of overturning the foundational core of our legal system so as to facilitate a temporal power grab. We need to be reminded that it is the durability of our legal system that needs to be respected so that its reliability is further enhanced by our unending reverence for it.

NFL and the Expanding Spectacle of Fashionability!
I believe we can all agree that Sport is a good thing for everyone; helps keep the body fit and the mind sharp. Professional sport, on the other hand, is an exhibition, a spectacle if you will and I sincerely doubt folks attend these events with the expectation of being bludgeoned by the improprieties of Athletes. It is more likely that professional sports fills the publics need or desire to escape, if only for a time, prevailing social or personal tensions.

Quite unceremoniously “things” are set in motion with a near undetectable anonymity assures by layers of unaccountability; never the mind or with deference to Public Safety.
